Principal's Message
At Sartori, each student is represented, feels connected, and thrives academically.
Hello ~
My name is Chris Cronas and I am the proud principal of Sartori Elementary School. I have been working in education for almost 25 years as a teacher, house administrator, assistant principal, principal, consultant, and executive director of schools. I earned my master's degree in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies from the University of Washington (Go Huskies!) and my undergrad degree in English Literature from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY.
I have had the privilege of serving in both teaching and leadership roles in a myriad of settings, across the entire Pre-K-16 continuum. I have held leadership positions in Seattle Public Schools, Monroe School District, and in Tokyo, Japan. I have maintained a consultancy for several years, serving throughout the states of Washington, Texas, and Minnesota, working on projects that support student mental health and raising awareness among teachers and staff about behavior and how to support students who struggle both academically and behaviorally. I was an ELA and multilingual learner teacher prior to moving into school administration.
I enjoy supporting schools directly and am so grateful for the opportunity to serve and learn at Sartori. We have an amazing staff, incredible students, and a wonderfully supportive parent community. If you ever need anything, please don't hesitate to reach out directly. I reply to email and phone messages within 24 - 48 hours and can meet in person at your request.
In community,
Chris Cronas
