Lottery Timeline

2026-27 School Year

• Students must be 5 years of age by 8/31/26 to apply for Kindergarten.
• The lottery application window will open November 1st, 2025
• Registration for Renton School District will open January 2026 (exact date to be announced).
• The lottery application window will close on February 13th, 2026 at 4:00 pm. 
• North Renton proof of residence is due by February 24, 2026 at 4:00 pm in order to be considered for priority.
• Lottery will run on March 6th, 2026. Results will be published on your SchoolMint Dashboard no later than March 13th at 4:00 pm.
