Lottery Timeline

2026-27 School Year

Students must be 5 years of age by 8/31/26 to apply for Kindergarten.
The lottery application window will open November 1st, 2025
Registration for Renton School District will open January 2026
The lottery application window will close on February 13th, 2026 at 4:00 pm
North Renton proof of residence is due by February 24, 2026 at 4:00 pm in order to be considered for priority
Lottery will run on March 6th, 2026. Results will be published on your SchoolMint Dashboard no later than March 13th at 4:00 pm

Lottery will run on March 5th, 2027. Results will be published on your SchoolMint Dashboard no later than March 12th at 4:00 pm.
